S/Nipped's hard working board continues to push forward. We secured our clinic location today. Along with the clinic building we will also have full use of all medical equipment. Our next step is to inventory the equipment and check off the items the model requires us to have, making note of what we will still need to buy.
Please take a look at our wish list page for items needed to open the clinic. Please pass along our site to everyone.

Every great goal has a date of completion to work toward. At our board meeting yesterday, we decided in honor of National Feral Cat day, our grand opening date would be October 16th, 2010. Again, this date all depends on how fast we can raise the needed funds to open the clinic and to be able to successfully walk through the Humane Alliance steps.
Community involvement and support will help make this date a reality. So please send everyone you know to the site, spread the ...Read Full Post »

S/Nipped will be making a trip to Corvallis again. We will load the transport at 10 am on the 15th for the trip to Corvallis. The cost will be $30 per cat. Good Morning all.
S/Nipped is ready to move forward fast on the low cost clinic. We will be submitting our application to the Humane Alliance as early as the beginning of next week. We have looked at a clinic location that I personally think is a fabulous space. So the next step is to raise the $120,000 to get the clinic opened. This number maybe a bit lower, however we will not know this until we get a complete inventory and send it to the Alliance for review of the neede...Read Full Post »

S/Nipped is in need of small and medium cat carriers in good working condition to transport cats to and from low cost clinics out of the area. We are also looking for a few large transport kennels for dogs, again to use while transporting out of the area. Once the clinic is up and going, these carriers will be used as part of the clinic transport.
We also need small litter boxes, 2 story cat condo cages, large wire rabbit cages, food/water dishes and towels.
